Recently, after listening to the curious questions of several visitors to our blog about SEO, I was forced to write about such a simple basic topic.

How do search engines work?

The search engine indexes and saves all types of databases by crawling all the links of each site including all types of websites of the World Wide Web. Later, according to the search engine search query, the good quality indexed data of the blog is gradually published in the search results. In this case, the better you do your blog Search Engine Optimization, the higher the search results will see the content of your blog.

Definition of SEO according to Moz's commentary

SEO means search engine optimization, which will increase the amount and quality of traffic to your website through web search engine results pages.

What is a search engine?

Simply put, a search engine is a type of software or application that searches for something through a keyword on the Internet. Wherever you search by typing something, thousands of information on any subject will appear in front of you in the blink of an eye. Google is currently the most popular search engine. In addition to the list of popularity Bing, Yahoo, Ask, Yandex, and DuckDuckGo search engines. We have previously shared a detailed post on what a search engine is and how it works.

How do search engines rank a blog?

When a person searches for a specific topic in the search engine, then the search engine shows the blog/website with the best content that is indexed to that topic according to this topic. Then according to the quality of the blog and content, all the blogs continue to show. In order to show the best search engine results, the search engine uses the Latest Ranking Algorithm with Search Query.

What is the Search Engine Algorithm?

This is a mathematical calculation indexed to get consistently good results for Search Query. Simply put, it is a consistent list of content that is indexed according to the rankings and values of different blogs in search results. This means that the higher the number, the higher the content of the search results.

What is Search Engine Rank?

When a person searches for something in a search engine, the search engine shows a lot of content in the search results. Search results basically depend on the search ranking of the blog. This means that the better the ranking of the blog, the better the content of the blog will show on the top of the search results, and if the ranking is not good, your content will not show on the first page of the search results. In addition, search engines use a variety of ranking algorithms to show a blog on the search results page.

Why is SEO done?

Search engine optimization (SEO) is basically done to get a blog/website in a good position or on the first page of search results and to get a good ranking from search engines or to get a lot of visitors to the blog from search engines. When a person optimizes his website properly with search engines, his blog will continue to grow a lot of visitors from search engines. This is because doing search engine optimization (SEO) will give search engines a clear idea about the content of their blog content. So in order to make any website successful or to make money from the website, you have to do proper SEO on its website.

Think in the general sense, when you write a post on a topic, how much to search for that topic online, what keywords to search for, how many posts are available online, which blog post will be the competitor of your new post, SEO is done to find out what is the value of your desired keyword, how many visitors are likely to get and how much revenue can be earned if you can work with that keyword and how many backlinks will be required to rank that post, etc.

Summarizing all these issues, it can be summed up that in order to be successful in online marketing, search engine optimization is required and there is no alternative to search engine optimization for success.

How many types of SEO and what are they?

If you ask someone how many types of SEO, then anyone will talk about on-page SEO and off-page SEO. There are two types of SEO. But not on-page SEO and off-page SEO. There are basically two types of SEO. E.g.

Organic SEO.

Paid SEO.

Organic SEO is again of two types.

One is on-page SEO.

The other is off-page SEO.

What is Organic SEO and Paid SEO?

Organic SEO means following all the rules of search engine optimization and the process of getting a position on the search results page. Paid SEO, on the other hand, is a move to the front pages of search engines in exchange for money from Google.

If you take a good look, you will see that after searching for a topic, there are some websites at the top of the search results in which Ad is written in short. Those are the ones that have come to the forefront through paid SEO. On the other hand, all the websites under these are organic SEO, that is, they have taken a position on the Google page without any money.

What is onpage SEO and offpage SEO?

OnPage SEO is the process of perfecting a website/blog, that is, everything that is needed to make a website better is On-Page SEO. OnPage SEO is a process for setting up keywords, Setting-up Meta, Naming Pages, Page Search Descriptions, etc. suitable for blogs. And off-page SEO is to share the link of your blog's content on various popular sites, create backlinks, join different forums, make the blog popular, and so on.

What is White Hat and Black Hat SEO?

White Hat SEO is the use of various technical web techniques to increase the rank of your blog and bring it to the top of the search results. On the other hand, Black Hat SEO is to increase the rank of the blog by violating the rules of the search engines by using some illegal methods. Google is currently using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to determine Google's search rankings, so it is almost impossible to rank blogs with Black Hat SEO techniques. That's why all the big SEO experts are paying attention to White Hat SEO.

Why learn SEO?

The importance and necessity of search engine optimization cannot be overstated. In a word, proper SEO is essential for online blogging, marketing, business promotion, and online success. There is no way to achieve success online without SEO.

The reason is that everyone on the Internet is looking for all the necessary things through search engines. The use of Google search engine, in particular, is so widespread that there is no way to succeed without Google search engine optimization. In addition, the use of the Google search engine has increased in recent times, with the popular web browsers Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome becoming the default search engine of many other popular browsers. So there is no alternative to search engine to make your blog/website known and popular.

Where to learn SEO?

There are two ways to learn SEO well. One is to learn from an experienced person or organization and the other is to learn from various good quality blogs/websites online. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. On the other hand, you can learn from a good institution in a short time.

But one thing to keep in mind is that whether you learn to be an online or any organization, it must be a good organization or a good all-line blog. In recent times, there are many SEO teaching companies at hand, but it is very difficult to find a good organization among them.

For example- today I see a tutorial on the settings of blog heading tags on the YouTube channel of an SEO related organization. There a teacher was teaching his students the H1, H2, and H3 tag settings incorrectly. I could not help but be surprised.

Another example- I visited the blog after hearing the praise of the blog "IT Bari.com" from a visitor to my blog. After visiting, we must see some good quality video tutorials related to SEO. Of course, the tutorials will help anyone learn the basics of SEO. However, many of the topics in these videos have been updated. In that case, it is not possible to learn everything properly from the videos.

On the other hand, I was not surprised to see the misuse of the Meta Key Word tag of the blog from the resource file of the "IT Bari.com" blog. Then I was forced to make a comment with reference to correct the mistake, but the admin of "IT Bari.com" Abdul Quader did not approve of my comment. The next day I saw that he had stopped viewing the source file of his blog. I don't understand the exact reason for not approving my comment and closing the source file.

My sole purpose behind these examples is to make sure that whatever organization or online you learn SEO from is a good quality organization or blog. Then you will be able to learn the perfect SEO properly.

As many misconceptions about the flame of SEO

Recently, there has been a lot of online and offline competition for teaching SEO in Bangladesh. Many are again claiming to be SEO experts. Especially some new YouTubers are making a lot of fuss about SEO. Most people are starting an SEO course with a little knowledge of SEO.

There are some YouTubers who say in YouTube videos, I get 1000 visitors every day with 10 posts on my blog. Because I have done 100% SEO on my blog. Some new bloggers and YouTubers are confusing the general public about SEO with such misinterpretations.

Yesterday I saw a video of an SEO expert on Facebook. Where he is arguing about SEO and talking a lot of funny things. He said that there are many SEO experts in Bangladesh who do not know anything about SEO. He challenged that he would give a keyword, if anyone could rank that keyword, he would give him 10 thousand rupees. And if no one else can do it, he can do it.

Laughter cannot be stopped by seeing such nonsensical arguments. Hey bro, ranking a keyword on a website is not so easy. No one will be able to rank any keyword with a 100% challenge. Renowned SEO experts Neil Patel and Brian Dean themselves have said that no one can guarantee a keyword ranking.

Take a good look at the image above. I typed What is SEO in Google search engine and as a result, the above websites are continuously shown in this regard. If you want, you can verify this by searching on Google.

Here Moz's post on What is SEO ranks number one. Then Search Engine Land's post is in 2nd position and Neil Patel's blog is in 3rd position. If you visit Moz's post, you will see that there are very few articles in their posts about SEO. But their post is ranking the best in this regard.

On the other hand, if you visit this post on Neil Patel's blog, you will see that there is no shortage of articles in the post. Here my question to the flattering SEO experts of our country is, why isn't Neil Patel's article ranking number 1?

You don't have to bother, I am answering the question myself. Only if there is a good article in the post, it is not possible to rank the post on any subject. In addition to good articles, there are many other things involved in ranking any keyword. Keyword ranking depends on the blog's PA, DA, and more on the blog, including age. Moreover, the keyword ranking will depend on the keyword difficulty of the keyword, will it be possible to rank the keyword?

If you open a new blog or website today, even if you try a thousand times to rank a keyword, you will not be able to rank it. So don't confuse the common man by talking such nonsense about SEO.

Will you be able to learn SEO?

Most people think that SEO is very difficult and think that it will not be possible for me to learn SEO. I would say to them that if you take it easy without thinking it is so difficult, you too can become an SEO expert. Especially if you learn SEO well with that money without thinking about paid SEO, you will be able to take your blog to a better platform in the future.

How to make money by learning SEO?

Google AdSense: If you had a habit of writing, you would create good quality articles: You can earn money from Google AdSense through blogging. If you are an SEO expert, you can easily rank your blog, grow trophies from search engines, and earn smart money from AdSense.

Affiliate Marketing: If you can rank your blog with SEO, you can easily earn thousands of dollars online through affiliate marketing. What SEO have I done in this post?

In the middle of this post, I said that at the end of the post I will tell you what SEO I have done in today's post. I think if you share this topic, will everyone be able to get a clearer idea about the basics of SEO?

1. I have done keyword research

First I have done full keyword research of this post. Because it is not possible to rank a post without keyword research. That's why I first did keyword research through Google Keyword Planner and other keyword research tools and researched and found the following important keywords in today's post.

If you read my post today carefully, you will see that my post has almost all of the above keywords in different places. As a result, if you search online by typing any of the above keywords, there will be a possibility to get my post.

Also, what do I need to do to rank for the keyword, how much to read in the competition, which blogs can be the competitor of my post in Google, what is the keyword difficulty, how much traffic can be found from the keyword, how many backlinks to the post of competitors in my post, what I have researched through various tools about the number of social media shares, what to do to rank my posts rather than their posts and how much time it may take.

2. Miscellaneous SEO:

After doing keyword research, I have tried to write a more informative and longer post on the desired topic than the competitors on my blog. Moreover, I have followed the following ancillary issues.

I gave the post an SEO friendly title.

I used the main keyword in the first paragraph.

I have used keywords that were necessary for each paragraph.

I have used H2, H3, and H4 tags in the required places inside the post.

I have added internal and external links.

Image Optimized.

I have used the Alt tag in Image.

I have used keywords in the Url of the post.

I have written an interesting and SEO friendly Meta Description of the post.

Finally, I have updated the post and done other work as per the instructions of this post.

Lastly: Search engine optimization (SEO) can never end with a discussion on what to learn, how to learn SEO, and how to do full SEO of a blog. Because Google and other search engines have a number of ranking factors. SEO is a very difficult task to do according to all the ranking facts. For him, the more SEO he can do, the easier it is to collect traffic from search engines and take the blog to the brink of success.
